We are pleased to welcome a new participant in the Hall of Fame. His name is Gökhan Gül, and he looks very motivated to hurt HUGO. Since we are always keen to learn more about HUGO’s adversaries, we interviewed him right after his entrance.

BOSS-Team: Hello Gökhan, can you tell us who you are?

Gökhan: I studied MSc. Digital Communications in Kiel University, Germany and currently, I am a visiting researcher at Queens University, UK.

BOSS-Team: How have you heard of the challenge?

Gökhan: Dr. Kurugollu told me if I want to become a boss? I said why not? If I can beat BOSS then I will!!

BOSS-Team:  Was it difficult to reach the Hall of Fame?

Gökhan: Yes it is harder than breaking PQ (1). Especially when almost all of our steganalytic attacks went below 60%

BOSS-Team: Do you consider BOSS as a leisure? as a coffee break? a full-time work?

Gökhan: Definitely not a coffee break. It is really necessary to reserve enough time. I would say, hmmm It is a game and I am learning how to play...

BOSS-Team: In your opinion, what will be the best score the 15th of december?

Gökhan: I think 0.4 rate is quite high but HUGO is also quite tough... I expect something around 80% but I find going above 85% very difficult until the end of the competition.

BOSS-Team: What kind of prize would you like to get if you win the contest (except for the already existing ones)?

Gökhan: How much you can give :-) One more HUGO perfume!!

BOSS-Team: How are you going to call the feature set that you are currently using (if you're using a new one)?

Gökhan: I call it “Gül Points”

BOSS-Team: Why do you want to hurt HHUGO so badly?

Gökhan: Since he challenged me!!  : ))))
